Changed Date for AGM & Prizegiving

The County AGM and Prizegiving will now be held at Forfar Golf Club on Monday 12 November at 7pm.  This is due to a number of people who were unable to attend due to bonfire night.

Please email any apologies to the Captain or notify your Club Rep to pass on.

Any nomination or resolution for inclusion on the Agenda for the Annual General Meeting must be proposed and seconded in writing and in the hands of the Secretary not later than 15th October.

4 Ball Better Ball Final 2018

The Angus Ladies 4 ball better ball final was played this evening at Panmure Barry between Wendy and Louise Smith and Sheila Bradley and Frances Martin. In a closely fought contest, Louise and Wendy won at the eighteenth. (2 up) Congratulations! 

Champion of Champions

The draw for the Champion of Champions will be done shortly. As not all clubs have County reps it is difficult to ensure everyone who is eligible to play knows about it. The competition is to be held at Panmure Barry on Sunday 23rd September. Names to be included in the draw so far are J. Brown, J. Grubb, F. Millar, L. Graham, D. Darling, S. Ramsay and L. Fotheringham. If there are any other club champions who wish to play please email millarfe@gmail.com .

 

Forfar Retain Shepherd Quaich

The final of the Shepherd Quaich was played at Edzell on Sunday. Playing for Forfar were Sarah and Isabol Chapman, Susan Sneddon and Lis Husband. Panmure Barry was represented by Angela Campbell, Anne Keddie, Agnes Freeman and Anna Hemings.
Susan and Lis won 4 up against Angela and Anne.
Sarah and Isabol won 1 up against Agnes and Anna.

Congratulations go to Forfar for their victory.
